Poverty creates the worst war of low self-esteem, mental illness, depression and outright stealing of destiny. When a child's life is not at peace, the parents and community would be at war. The war of poverty without hope is the worst war a child can ever experience. Many questions came to the fore while conducting our earlier research.
Does any child ask to be birthed in Africa?
Does a child choose to be birthed in a poor family?
Could government help alleviate these families from poverty?
I supposed the answers to numbers 1 & 2 are not in affirmation, because if a child was allowed to select a country or family of birth, certain countries or families in Africa would have been a NO. We cannot build on question number 3 here, as many things need to be investigated for a proper answer to be given. However, we elect to help, haven embrace the emphatic and compassionate spirits of ONE LOVE, One Spirit, and Equal Beings. We noted with passion the ongoing happenings in most Nigerian settings. We believe that you reading will join us in this alleviation scheme.
The cause that ensued our motivation empath, we saw a world where many children are displaced, physically and mentally traumatised, and many are in schools without access to quality education. Many children and families live in a community where there is no clean water and no health care facilities. These and much more had been the stories of these marginalised sections of Nigeria.
In 2018, the Peace and Development Foundation began the journey to change the narratives and make life liveable in those small communities in the rural areas of Nigeria. Since the inception of the Organisation, many lives had been touched in the areas of education, health, and clean water. We continue to thrive to support and optimise sustainable development as foist by the United Nations charter and 17 assemblies standards rules for community developmental goals.
C&CPDF is a registered Nigerian-operated charity dedicated to creating positive impacts in our communities. Our mission, vision, and value are to promote peace, alleviate poverty via skill acquisitions, foster development, and create sustainable change for a brighter future.
This Foundation is established with a passion for advocating for peace and community development. What Poverty Can Cause?

When a child's life is not at peace due to poverty, the parents and community would be at war. The war of poverty without hope is the worst war a child can ever wish to experience. During our Research on the causes of mental ill-health, depression and criminality in Nigeria, we discovered that stress emanating as a result of poverty is hugely significant to the cause of mental health and the high rate of criminality such as ( killing, bad gange, drug addiction, stealing and raping) in our contemporary Nigerian society.
We asked questions like if a child would be allowed to make a choice about where to be birthed.
Would any child like to be birthed into a poor family in Africa?
Would any child like to starve before going to school
Would any child prefer to go school bear foot or with books and a bag?
